I purchased a CNC engraver and started practicing with it in 2022. To the right are a few of my very first projects completed with it. The first one was a donation to attendees of an annual Christmas gathering for fallen SAPD Officer’s family members put on by the department’s Family Assistance Team. Not only was this the first but also one of my favorite projects that I have ever been able to be a part of. Although simple, it was a gesture to the families who have been through so much. Not only were they the support system at home during the Officer’s time in service as a Police Officer, but they still attend this event annually, in remembrance of the lives and the sacrifices they made to make this city a safer place. The first words that I engraved using this machine were “Never Forgotten” which instantly became the name that I stuck with from then on.

Next was a project that I worked on after my uncle passed away. His children placed these on their property in remembrance of their father. One, a personal message, and the others, phrases that he was known for saying. He was a very special man to the entire family and all who knew him. His favorite and most commonly used was “God is Good!”. He never failed to remind everyone he spoke to of this one thing that he knew for certain. He is a constant reminder of what a true man of God really is and I am thankful to have known him. He will never be forgotten!
